Developing Students' Writing Skills within ESP Blended Learning Model
The article describes the key features of writing skills within the course of English for specific purposes implemented on the basis of blended learning. Teaching writing is considered to be a relevant and inseparable component of foreign language teaching, which has a great influence on students' competences. Writing text genres which are useful to the majority of engineering students are determined. In respect that the share of students' self study increases, a set of exercises including preparatory and communicative as well as a special unit of writing exercise tips and comments were worked out. Such a set of exercises being used in an ESP blended learning model, writing skills are formed and developed efficiently.
