In this article the authors analyse the effectiveness of the mechanism of protection of rights of individual investors at the securities market illustrated by a real and relatively recent dispute of a client with an investment company. The investment company incurred by its actions loss to the client, and he decided to take every measure available under current legislation to protect his rights.
