Исследование влияния внешних связей в организации инновационных процессов в малых инновационных компаниях Нижегородской области
The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the discussion of effectiveness of the regional innovation systems in emerging economy of Russia. This study is grounded in Mian’s (1996, 1997) framework of perceived added value of services provided by technoparks and high-tech business incubators and study attempts to evaluate effectiveness of existing technoparks for innovation activities of SMEs in Nizhniy Novgorod region of Russia. The study is based on survey of 94 companies located both on and off technoparks. The results shade the light on severity of issues facing young innovative SMEs in the region and degree to which incubation institutions able to ease and/or facilitate an access to vital resources including finance, technical and business expertise, etc.. The results suggest that main attraction of technopark/incubator location is access to governmental funding for innovative SMEs. The findings also indicate the reluctance of the tenant firms to collaborate with external organisation on joint research and to make analysis of the technological business performance.
