Стратегические подходы к снижению негативного воздействия факторов внешней среды на бизнес компании
The article is dedicated to the research into the companies’ capabilities to influence their business external environment. The main purpose of the paper is to identify and conduct a comparative analysis of the strategies that allow companies to change the negative impact of the external factors on their activities into a positive direction. During the research the attempt was undertaken to discover such strategies that can be applied not only under the conditions of local but international competition. The following strategies were identified during the research process: strategy of mergers and acquisitions, strategy of entering into strategic alliances and lobbying companies’ interests within governmental bodies. As a result of the research the conclusion was made that a strategy of horizontal mergers and acquisitions gives the most positive effect if a company is attempting to change the negative impact of external factors on its operations. Entering into a strategic alliance also allows to achieve positive results but doesn’t influence all the external factors. Implementation of the lobbying strategy is not under full company’s control, that’s why it is regarded as the least definite and predictable among all the examined approaches. The research results may be applied by companies in their business while developing and implementing strategic decisions.
