This paper deals with the capabilities of using crowdsourcing to determining directions of improve the system of training and staff development by the employees. Defined the essence of crowdsourcing, highlighted the types of crowdsourcing. The relevance of the introduction distance learning in the organization is described. The paper describes the experience of Sberbank of Russia in this area, which is the first among Russian companies attracted a community of interested employees to work on the formation of the Bank's development Strategy for the period up to 2018, to determine the direction of working with staff which will be implemented in the coming years, and to identify areas of improvement of the system of training and staff development of the Bank (in particular the development of Educational portal).
