In the middle of the 20th century political philosophy met the necessity of critical war theory generation. That war theory should examine simultaneously conditions of the beginning of the war and principles of conducting the warfare. All philosophical war theories that had existed before seemed to be ineffective. In that period exactly just war theory became urgent again, that mediated to special role of war ethics in modern warfare. Just war theory proved to be the normative theory what was so necessary for political philosophy and it turned to be noticeable conception used in international politics.
