This article analyzes E. Jünger's views on nihilism. The author reconstructs Jünger's shifting perspectives and identifies key areas of his thought as they evolved over time. Taking the question of nihilism as a foundation, the author demonstrates how the thinker's intellectual vector shifted: from a heroic embrace of modernist tendencies to disillusionment with them and an embrace of cultural criticism. The author demonstrates that nihilism as a philosophical problem was the focus of Jünger's interest throughout his intellectual career. Through the problem of nihilism, it becomes possible to explore other key Jünger ideas: the opposition between technology and art, the question of the preservation of the individual in an era of massification and specialization, and the role of thought and
poetry in this process.
