This article examines the economic aspect of the activities of urban electric transport enterprises. This assessment is necessary to understand the key sources of income and expenses at electric transport enterprises, which will allow optimizing internal processes in further research. Within the framework of this article, scientific approaches to assessing the economic aspect of transport activities and its components are considered. The differences in activity are determined depending on the types of traction. Based on the regulatory documents in force in Russia, the experience of interaction with urban electric transport enterprises and the position of the scientific community, an integrated scheme of the revenue and expenditure side of urban electric transport enterprises has been formed. This scheme takes into account the industry specifics of the activity, as well as the specifics of the types of electric transport. At the same time, the scheme is universal for use regardless of the type of electric transport.
