Связь личностных адаптаций с копинг-стратегиями и экзистенциальной исполненностью
This study examines the relationship between personality adaptations, existential fulfillment, and coping strategies. The study sample (N=193) consisted of respondents aged 18 to 37 years (M=27.30, SD=2.40), of whom 47% were female and 53% were male. The following instruments were used: the Personality Adaptations Questionnaire [Joines & Stewart, 2019], the Ways of Coping Questionnaire [Kryukova & Kuftyak, 2007], and the Test of Existential Motivations [Shumsky et al., 2016]. The findings indicate that personality adaptations are associated with a wide range of coping strategies, most of which are common across multiple personality types. However, one coping strategy—distancing—was found to be uniquely associated with the passive-aggressive adaptation. Most indicators of quality of life, psychological well-being, and absence of psychopathology (i.e., existential fulfillment) were negatively correlated with personality adaptations. The only exception was the histrionic adaptation, which showed a positive association with relatedness.
