Child-parent relationships are the first relationships in person’s life. These relationships make significant contribution in development and well-being of a person. The article contains a brief review of publications describing contribution of child-parent relationships and existential fulfillment in romantic relationship into existential fulfillment of a person as well as interrelation between child-parent relationships and person’s well-being. Fundamental existential motivations in child-parent relationships are described. The author presents empirical research devoted to clarification of child-parent and romantic relationships in subjective well-being. To study existential fulfillment in child-parent relationships Test of existential motivations in interpersonal relationships with mother/father by Larina E.V. et al. is used; Semantic differential was used to measure children’s perception of their parents; Test of Existential Motivations by Shumskij et al. is used to measure existential fulfillment of a person; A test to measure existential motivations in interpersonal relationships (TEMMIR) by Ukolova et al. is used to measure existential fulfillment in romantic relationship. The research consisted of two parts. The sample of research 1 consisted of 137 women from full families aged from 18 to 60 (M = 24,93, SD = 8,2), who had romantic relationship with the opposite sex partner for 6 month and longer. Regression analysis showed comparable significance of existential fulfillment in child-parent relationships and in relationships with romantic partner. The sample of research 2 consisted of 150 women from full families aged from 18 to 48 (M = 27,19, SD = 6,59), who had romantic relationship with the opposite sex partner for 6 month and longer. Regression analysis showed significant contribution of the scale «Evaluation» of semantic image of both parents showed significant contribution into general score of existential fulfillment as well as into fulfillment of all of the fundamental existential motivations except for the 4-th FM, connected with meaning in life.
