Аннотация: Talent management is the concept which appeared during the performance management evolution and helps to manage the effi ciency and success of a company in the Bani world by engaging highly eff ective and loyal employees. The talent management concept highlights that companies need not only employees who eff ectively fulfi ll their duties but also talents who can quickly identify the need for change, implement and adapt to it, repeating the process where necessary and make a signifi cant contribution into their company’s life and development. This case study provides insights into how to attract, acquire, and manage talents in a country with emerging market and at the time the company changes its business strategy. It also provides empirical support and theoretical understanding of the strategic human resource management literature on the topic of talent management. The case is useful for knowledge-intensive fi rms, multinational companies and large national pharmaceutical or other globally oriented companies, in a situation of change of business strategy and the need to business strategy shift, need to rethink talent management, during a global downturn, also for companies with diff erent cultural backgrounds, where the country of origin and the country of operations are diff erent.
