Влияние артикуляции решения индуктивной задачи на перенос правила решения
In a recent study (Lupyan & Zetterstern, 2021), it was shown that after solving multiple tasks involving the identification of a common property in examples, participants were faster at discovering the rule when solving new similar tasks if they had verbalized their solutions in the first phase. However, the effect of verbalization was limited by the type of rule: verbalization facilitated the transfer of specific perceptual rules but did not influence the transfer of abstract ones.
In the present study, we investigated the influence of different forms of verbalization – oral and written – on solving similar tasks. According to our hypothesis, the effect of verbalization should manifest not only during oral verbalization or articulation of the solution. When recording the solution without articulation, the effect of verbalization should manifest to the same extent.
