This publication reflects current issues in cognitive linguistics discussed at the All-Russian Conference with International Participation "Interaction of Mental and Linguistic Structures: A Scientific School Meeting," dedicated to the anniversary of Professor N. N. Boldyrev, the founder of the Tambov School of Cognitive Linguistics. Conference topics include theoretical and methodological issues in cognitive linguistics; new aspects and approaches to the study of conceptualization and categorization of the world in language; analysis of linguistic data using computer technologies and cognitive modeling; the role of cognitive linguistics in interdisciplinary research, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, intercultural and multimodal communication; and cognitive aspects of text and different types of discourse.
