This article is devoted to the number, social composition and career successes of the graduates of the Army Noble Cadet Corps of the second half of the XVIII century. The number of cadets is established. Two milestones for the division of the total number of cadets can be distinguished: 1761 and 1765. The career successes of cadets were influenced by the wealth and rank of their parents. But, compared to the general mass of nobility, the training in the Corps itself was a social elevator with a higher rate than the enlistment of ordinary soldiers.
