El presente volumen recoge trabajos de hispanistas de diferentes procedencias: desde investigadores cuya lengua materna es el español y llevan a cabo su tarea en el mundo hispánico, ya sea peninsular o americano, hasta quienes trabajan en regiones donde el español es un idioma minoritario y/o que han adquirido el español como segunda lengua. Esta gozosa diversidad halla su expresión en los trabajos que integran este volumen, poniendo de manifiesto uno de los objetivos centrales de la AIH: el diálogo académico y plural entre los hispanismos del mundo, diálogo enriquecedor y vivificante que no conoce fronteras. El hacerlo por primera vez fuera de Europa y América cobra una significación muy especial, al insertar esta multiplicidad de perspectivas en el diálogo presente y tan necesario entre nuestros pueblos y regiones.
