An algorithm for assessing the professional potential of an otorhinolaryngologist based on the identification of medical risk factors in the provision of medical care to patients with rhinosi-nusitis has been developed. otorhinolaryngologists from 32 subjects of the Russian Federation were screened and the treatment of patients with polyposis rhinosinusitis was analyzed. The proposed methodological approach was successfully used to assess the knowledge and skills of physicians of other specialties and formed the basis for the methodology of studying the professional potential of physicians, for which the author's invention certificates were also obtained.

Effective intraoperative speech mapping requires specific test with standardized linguistic material. The last one should capture speech function supported by brain region targeted for resection. It is necessary to develop a test tailored to specific patient’s needs and document intraoperative linguistic support. The objective of this report was to describe the procedure of intraoperative speech testing and battery of intraoperative tests for Russian language. We correlated intraoperative tests with brain regions and speech functions, as well as presented an application ...

Whole-slide histology images (WSIs) can exceed 100 k × 100 k pixels, making direct pixel-level segmentation infeasible and requiring patch-level classification as a practical alternative for downstream WSI segmentation. However, most approaches either treat patches independently, ignoring spatial and biological context, or rely on deep graph models prone to oversmoothing and loss of local tissue ...

We report the synthesis and antibacterial activities of a series of amphiphilic membrane-active peptides composed, in part, of various non-genetically coded hydrophobic amino acids. Lead cyclic peptides, 8C and 9C, showed broad-spectrum activity against drug-resistant Gram-positive (MIC=1.5-6.2 µg/mL) and Gram-negative (MIC=12.5-25 µg/mL) bacteria. Cytotoxicity study showed the predominant lethal action of the peptides against bacteria ...
