ДЕМОКРАТИЧЕСКИЙ ТРАНЗИТ: ТРАЕКТОРИЯ И МОДЕЛИ ПОЛИТИЧЕСКОЙ ТРАНСФОРМАЦИИ
The mobility of political changes and the multiplicity of determinants that determine their course make them a rather difficult object to study. Moreover, the process of uncontrolled changes (political revolutions) is unpredictable when a society moves from one type of development and political system to another. This happened in the 90s of the XX century with the countries of "real socialism" in Eastern Europe and the USSR. The authors of the monograph asked themselves: "How relevant is the methodology of political transit developed by Western experts for analyzing political transformations in former socialist countries?" These countries had a society that could not be called traditional; they were technologically quite advanced; a middle class was forming in them. Nevertheless, democratic transit in these states had its own characteristics, which determined different results. Understanding the logic and trajectory of political transformation in each case, and identifying patterns of political transit in the 1990s in post-socialist countries constitute the purpose of this study. For students, postgraduates and teachers of political science universities and faculties, as well as a wide range of readers interested in issues of political change.
