Воздействие международных экологических стандартов на финансовую эффективность компании: экономико-правовой анализ
This article analyzes the relationship between investor responses to the compliance of companies with international environmental standards and their financial performance. This analysis helps to determine whether investor reactions to the actions or inaction of companies regarding these standards affect their financial performance. The article uses examples from various countries to illustrate how adherence to international environmental standards influences the relationships between companies and stakeholders. It also examines how stakeholder reactions to the compliance of companies can impact financial indicators such as capitalization growth. The study analyzes the connection between investor reactions to ESG reports and capitalization, using examples from several banks, IT companies, and aviation industry companies. The author concludes that compliance with international environmental standards generally has a positive impact on financial performance. No single international environmental standard was found to be most beneficial, as investor reactions to all standards were roughly identical in the reviewed cases. The study demonstrates a trend of integrating financial law regulations into these standards, reflecting a broader trend of interaction between economics and law. Developers of international environmental standards recognize the positive impact of combining financial regulation and law on the dissemination of these standards. The trend of convergence of economics and law, showing high efficiency in international environmental law, may extend to other sectors regulating business relationships.
