Эмоциональный поворот в журналистике XXI в.
For years, journalism students have been told that journalism is fact-based, that it is all about objectivity and dispassion, rational reporting, and logic in describing cause-and-effect relationships. But emotions should be left to art or, in extreme cases, journalism, which can afford subjectivity. At the same time, the world around journalism was increasingly focused not on rational knowledge transmitted by science, but on the affectivity of art and the psychotherapeutic interpretation of a person’s emotional life. These processes in the second half of the twentieth century. were so strong that they could not help but affect journalism as an important cultural institution. The chapter examines how the emotional turn in Russian media took place in the 1990s and identifies key trends for 2010-2020.
