The article is devoted to the influence of “hard” and “soft” factors on the effectiveness and dynamics of innovation processes in a company. The conclusion is made about the high importance of the predominance of “soft” organizational factors influencing the growth rate of technology companies. According to a study conducted by a team of authors, including employees of the Institute of Innovation Management of the Higher School of Economics National Research University (HSE), choosing exclusively “hard” elements of the organization’s microenvironment as fundamental ones leads to certain failures.
