This textbook on regional studies of Spain is intended not only to develop linguistic competence, but also to expand the professional horizons of students studying Spanish of linguistic and non-linguistic universities (level B1-B2). The main objectives are to introduce students to the sociocultural realities of Spain, to teach them to work with both adapted and non-adapted texts on topics covering four spheres of society (economics, politics, social sphere and culture), to enrich students’ vocabulary with basic lexical and phraseological units, and to instill professionally oriented skills (in particular, the ability to use various forms of conveying the content of the text and conduct a discussion on the proposed topics).

The textbook can be useful for senior university students (level B1-B2), as well as for everyone who takes international exams in Spanish SIELE and DELE.
