Description Quivers for Compact Representation of Concept Lattices and Ensembles of Decision Trees
Dudyrev E., Kuznetsov S., Napoli A., , in: 17th International Conference, ICFCA 2023, Kassel, Germany, July 17–21, 2023, Proceedings. Formal Concept Analysis, (LNCS, volume 13934).: Switzerland: Springer, 2023. P. 127–142.
In this paper we introduce and study description quivers as compact representations of concept lattices and respective ensembles of decision trees. Formally, description quivers are directed multigraphs where vertices represent concept intents and (multiple) edges represent generators of intents. We study some properties of description quivers and shed light on their use for describing state-of-the-art symbolic machine ...

On the Maximal Independence Polynomial of the Covering Graph of the Hypercube up to n=6
Ignatov D. I., , in: 17th International Conference, ICFCA 2023, Kassel, Germany, July 17–21, 2023, Proceedings. Formal Concept Analysis, (LNCS, volume 13934).: Switzerland: Springer, 2023. P. 152–165.
There are well-known problems in extremal set theory that can be formulated as enumeration of the maximal independent sets or counting their total number in certain graphs. Here we provide an FCA-based solution on the number of maximal independent sets of the covering graph of a hypercube. In addition, we consider the related maximal independence ...

Dmitriev A., Kornilov V., Batienkov R., Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering 2026 Vol. 886 P. 249–255
Numerous studies have provided compelling evidence that the probability distribution of avalanche sizes follows a power law, and that 1/f noise is present in the stochastic dynamics of landslides. We present a theoretical explanation of these phenomena within the framework of self-organized criticality theory, proposing a discrete-time model in the form of a sandpile cellular ...

When universal machine learning models fail in capacitance prediction for carbon-based supercapacitors: Leakage-aware validation and electrolyte screening
Makarov D. M., Kalikin N., Fashchevsky K. A. et al., Electrochimica Acta 2026 Vol. 579 Article 150159
Machine learning (ML) has become a powerful tool for accelerating the development of carbon-based supercapacitors; however, most published models assume that a single predictive framework can describe both conventional porous carbons and hybrid carbon electrodes. Here, we test this assumption using a comprehensive benchmark dataset and an extended literature-curated dataset enriched with synthesis- and electrolyte-related descriptors. Three ML algorithms ...
