This article postulates the existence in epistemology of the "evidentialist" and "actualist" conceptions of belief, the conceptions that have origins in classical philosophy. It is marked that there is a movement from the primitive, not analyzed concept of belief to a concept that allows an epistemologist to view belief not only from his own perspective, but also from the perspectives of a philosopher of language and a philosopher of mind, which ones enriches and deepens the epistemological consequences that he receives. Тhis movement is considered in the context of the trend of "pragmatization", which is general characteristics of modern philosophy.
