Дискурсивное конструирование национальной идентичности в новогодних телевизионных обращениях Президентак гражданам России
The Presidential New Year televised address is a genre of political discourse where the national identity is discursively constructed. On the lexical stage, the national identity is modeled in Presidential messages predominately by the category citizens of Russia represented by nominations we, people, citizens, nationhood. By means of corpus discourse analysis, we defined the frequency of usage and linguistic contexts of these nominations. The nomination we is the most frequent in TV addresses and is constructed in subjective, agentive and integrative terms. The nomination people is modeled in socio-economic and socio-psychological categories; the nomination citizens is under the socio-economic and political categorization; and the nomination nationhood refers to political and historical categories. Thus, the national identity of Russians is generally modeled in socio-economic and political categories.
