The results of the analysis of latent profiles of personal determinants of overcoming difficult life situations in the Russian (989 people aged 18 to 78 years) and Uzbek samples (272 people aged 18 to 48 years) are presented. The following methods were used in the study: Proactive Coping Inventory (PCI), Uncertainty Tolerance Inventory (MSTAT-II), Positive and Negative Emotions Inventory (PANAS). According to the results of statistical analysis of latent profiles (LPA), the best model was described, including five latent profiles. This model demonstrated similar profiles in the Russian and Uzbek samples. A profile with high values on the scales of proactive, reflective, preventive coping, strategic planning and at the same time low values on the scales of seeking social and emotional support is characterized by a high level of positive and low values of negative affect. A profile with low scores on the scales of proactive, reflective, preventive coping, strategic planning and, at the same time, higher scores on the scales of seeking social and emotional support is associated with high avoidance of a problem situation, low tolerance for uncertainty, and negative affect.
