The review aims to introduce the collective study “The Perspective of Sustainable Development. Appeal to Global and Latin American Realities", carried out by a cluster of researchers from the Institute of Latin American Studies (Russian Academy of Sciences). It provides a wide and lavish description of the monograph, including the place this book holds in the modern studies about Latin American realities and sustainable development. The authors` approaches and points of view are utmost fresh and innovative. They make it quite possible to draw some outright parallels between the local, national, macro-regional, and global scopes of sustainable development.
