Through the prism of the research project "Components, social standards and indicators of the level and quality of life of the population in modern Russia: qualitative identification and quantitative assessment in conditions of socio-economic inequality", carried out at ISESP RAS and ISESP FCTAS RAS in 2018-2021, examines the phenomenon of the level and quality of life: theoretical and methodological foundations, modern challenges, monitoring dynamics, new tools of state and corporate policy. The concept of a medium-term national program to reduce absolute monetary poverty, the authors' proposals on approaches to designing the level and quality of life of Russians, recommendations for state social policy are presented. The monograph is addressed to specialists, postgraduates and students dealing with problems of labor and employment, improving the level and quality of life.
