The article explores the structural and semantic connections between the poem D. Bykov's "Black River" (1991) and I. Brodsky's poem "Noon in the Room" (1974-1975): meter and stanza, grammatical organization of time, topic elements, lexical and motivic roll calls. Comparative analysis allows us to come to the conclusion about the genetic nature of the interaction of texts, which is confirmed by D. Bykov's acquaintance with the book of poems by I. Brodsky "Urania" (Ann Arbor: Ardis Publishers, 1987), which included the poem "Noon in the Room".
