The past four years have been an extremely challenging period for our economy. Thus, the country faced a covid and the restrictions it caused, followed by the need to rebuild the real sector and services affected by the pandemic. Then a special military operation began and was followed by the imposition of sanctions, the withdrawal of foreign companies from our country, and the restriction of economic ties with other countries.
The specialized ministries and agencies had to face new, sometimes completely unexpected and unobvious at first glance, challenges from time to time. In fact, overcoming difficulties has become quite a natural systemic process. At the end of last year, the total number of illegal restrictive measures against Russia reached almost twenty thousand. In terms of the number of sanctions imposed against our country, the Russian Federation is already a "leader", leaving behind the DPRK, Iran, Syria, Venezuela and Cuba.
Currently, the country's economy has managed to adapt quite successfully to the new realities after the "shock scenario" in terms of unprecedented restrictive measures of the West. The government managed to achieve economic growth under the sanctions pressure of unfriendly countries.
