The article is devoted to the analysis of the interaction of business and government in the Rostov region. The economic condition and investment potential of the region is quite high in the Rostov region: many production areas are developed, and the active role of the agricultural sector. The authors suggest that the current GR practices ensure a proper level of interaction between all stakeholders. Monitoring of GR practices has shown (the first half of 2022) that the institutions of interaction between business and government work effectively: for example, the activities of expert councils, the active work of business associations, the Commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs, the possibility of promoting interests through the legislature. Among the weaknesses, it is possible to cancel the possibility of promoting the own interests of small businesses.
