Modern education should be aimed at developing students' critical thinking skills. In the process of learning astronomy, it is important to pay attention to the development of comprehension, argumentation and decision-making skills. To do this, the mastering of the material should be organized in accordance with the scientific method, which can be considered as a formalization of critical thinking, and training tasks should become simulators of the selected skills.
