The textbook contains the program of the research seminar "Legal Analytical Research" and the work plan for the project workshop "Analysis of legal situations: from diagnosis to report". It reveals the concept of legal analytics, shows its role in solving scientific, theoretical and practical problems in the field of law. Modern approaches to the diagnosis, problematization and construction of ontologies of analytical situations are demonstrated. The analytical cycles and structures of analytical actions, the application of design tools to the resolution of legal analytical situations are considered. The manual involves the development of students' skills in managing analytical activities, as well as a variety of tools for legal analytical work. The manual is addressed to 1st year students of the HSE Faculty of Law, as well as to everyone who develops and uses modern analytical methods in law.
