Техническое как посредник и соучастник в создании театральной иллюзии: медиальность в театрах Толстого, Пиранделло и Би-би-си 1
Новое литературное обозрение. 2023. Т. 180. № 2. С. 175–187.
Дергунова К. Н., Попова В. А.
In the article, Dergunova and Popova consider the theatrical illusion ensued by a variety of technical means and analyze the historical shift in the role of technology in the performative arts between the 18th and 21st centuries. From some aspects of Leo Tolstoy’s Rousseauist aesthetics to Luigi Pirandello’s playful treatment of reality in Sei personaggi in cerca d’autore and the contemporary practices of popular culture narrative assemblage as exemplified by the BBC One television series Staged, technology has come to mess with referentiality and confuse the audience in a cycle of illusion-building and illusion-breaking acts instead of stable reality effect maintenance.
