Road Injuries Leading Cause of Death Among Men Aged 10 to 39
Worldwide, road injuries are the leading cause of death among males aged 10–39. An international team of researchers reached this conclusion as part of the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023, analysing data from 204 countries between 1990 and 2023. Their findings have been published in The Lancet Public Health, with HSE University Professor Vasily Vlassov listed among the collaborators.

A transcript of the discussion that took place after the talk presented by L. I. Kulikov is given: on January 13, 2021 at the seminar "Cultures of the East" (Higher School of Economics, Moscow, guided by N. Yu. Chalisova) and at the seminar on the comparative historical study of Indo-European languages ​​(Institute of Linguistic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, St. Petersburg, guided by N. N. Kazansky). The text has undergone minor stylistic revision (made by both the editor and the participants) and minimal reduction, mainly to avoid repetitions.
