The article discusses the approach to the implementation of experimental activities in physics at school. We form an idea about the experimental task and offer a variant of the task aimed at involving the student in the experimental activity and finding a way to solve the problem. In the course of the proposed task, the student works to create the most powerful or fastest electric motor. In addition, we believe that it is necessary to acquaint students with the achievements of high technology, this will stimulate the assimilation of fundamental physical concepts and laws, and in the future will contribute to the formation of a competent socialized society capable of distinguishing scientific fact from fiction. The approach described in this article will help students to arouse interest in physics and the study of the structure of the world around them.
