Мир Психологии Российская Федерация. 2022. № 3(110). С. 70-82.
The article presents the results of an empirical study of the relationship between cognitive and value components of social identity and consumer behaviour styles. In order to test the hypothesis, a correlation analysis (Spearman rank correlation coefficient) as well as a comparison of independent samples using nonparametric Mann-Whitney coefficient were conducted. The sample was 212 people, aged 18 to 62 years: 96 men and 116 women. The results of the study confirmed the existence of a correlation. Based on the results, it can be assumed that the nature of identity can contribute to the development of a particular style of consumer behavior.
