The article is devoted to the space-time organization of the drama by B.L. Pasternak "This Light". The mythopoetic motif of snow, symbolizing the oblivion of death, can be traced in the chronotopes of dramatic (“This Light”) and epic (“Doctor Zhivago”) works. In the play, based on the position of M.M. Bakhtin about the value coloring of chronotopes, their ideological aspect is revealed.
