The abolition of the Soviet Union, proclaimed in December 1991 in Belovezhskaya Pushcha by the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, was considered a prosperous (since it was peaceful and not bloody) ending not only the history of a single state in the vast expanses of Eurasia, but also the bipolar international system.
