Новые модели первичной медико-санитарной помощи: зарубежный опыт и российские перспективы
The existing multidisciplinary polyclinic model in Russia has both advantages and serious disadvantages. Equally controversial is the model of individual physician practice. Western countries are looking for alternatives to individual practice; larger organizational forms of primary care are being developed. Extended practices do not repeat the Russian multidisciplinary polyclinic model, but use some of its advantages, primarily teamwork of medical specialists. The ongoing worldwide changes in the composition, functionality, and interaction between PHC providers make it possible to identify new models. The most promising new PHC models in Russia include the following ones: extended general practice, integrated medical and social practice, center of outpatient care, and home clinic.
