For the first time, the publication presents a toolkit for assessing the level of development of the digital economy in the country - the Digital Economy Development Index, which allows for cross-country comparisons of the degree of readiness, use and impact of digital technologies on socio-economic development. The results of a pilot rating by the level of development of the digital economy for a reference group of 32 countries are presented. Comprehensive indices were built and analyzed for individual factors that form the conditions for digital transformation, as well as characterize the use of digital technologies in the public sector, in business and citizens.
The publication is intended for experts and leaders working in the development and implementation of policies for the development of the information society and digital economy.
