The chapter looks at one aspect of the changes in the African continentst, connected with the fall of colonialism simultaneously in many countries of this reagion. In the South of the continent, where colonoalism ligered, the reaction to liberation in other countries was the turn to the armed struggle against colpnilism and apartheid. The chapter presents the analysis of the views of both the protagonists and the opponents of this shift.
