Nastoyashcheye issledovaniye posvyashcheno dokumentu, naydennomu v Rossiyskom gosudarstvennom arkhive sotsial'no politicheskoy istorii, kotoryy prolivayet svet na refleksiyu sovteskikh chinovnikov v otnoshenii raskreposhcheniya musul'manok sovetskogo Turkestana. Dokument - raport samarkandskgo oblastnogo pravleniya interesen svoimi rassuzhdeniyami, chinovnika, raneye rabotavshego v imperskoy administratsii, a zatem pereshedshego na storonu sovetskoy vlasti. V raporte proslezhivayetsya refleksiya nad polozheniyem mestnykh musul'manok, v chastnosti kochevnits (kakhashek), vospriyatiye ikh zhizni i kul'tury so storony "yevropeytsev". Dokument ya postaralsya pomestit' v obshchey kontekst gendernoy modernizatsii sovetskogo Turkestana. Pomimo samogo raporta v stat'ye zadeystvovany dokumenty turkestanskikh zhenotdelov.

This study is devoted to a document found in the Russian State Archive of Social and Political History, which sheds light on the reflection of Soviet officials in relation to the emancipation of Muslim women in Soviet Turkestan. The document - the report of the Samarkand regional government is interesting for its reasoning, an official who previously worked in the imperial administration, and then went over to the side of the Soviet regime. The report traces a reflection on the situation of local Muslim women, in particular nomads (Kakhash), the perception of their life and culture on the part of "Europeans". I tried to place the document in the general context of the gender modernization of Soviet Turkestan. In addition to the report itself, the article contains documents from the Turkestan women's departments.
