Heidegger puts forward the project of fundamental ontology as a science that addresses being as such, against Kantian metaphysics, which has caused the oblivion of the ontological consideration of being. An analysis of the main ideas of the Critique of Pure Reason allows him to find confirmation of his words. Heidegger reinterprets them within the framework of a fundamental ontology, which, although directly related to metaphysics, since it was the cause of its emergence, nevertheless aims to overcome its prejudices about being.
