Нетранзитивность выбора в темной триаде
The paper analyzes the link between components of the Dark Triad and manifestations of transitiveness/ non-transitiveness in value choices. The authors review studies of non-transitiveness and present a transactional analytical model of subject organization of personality with emphasis on non-clinical (adaptive) manifestations of narcissism, psychopathy and machiavellianism. The hypothesis tested was that the level of transitiveness/non-transitiveness of choices being made is determined by the nature of relations between subjects (egostates, ‘sub-personalities') forming the inner structure of personality of individuals with expressed symptoms of narcissism, psychopathy and machiavellianism. The tendency towards non-transitiveness of value choices was assessed in 247 subjects aged 18 to 35 (95 men and 152 women) with the help of Sh. Schwartz's technique. The subjects chose paired alternatives and completed the Dark Triad questionnaire. It was discovered that growth of narcissistic and psychopathic manifestations (bi-subject organization of personality) is accompanied by meaningful growth in frequency of non-transitive personal choices, but that does not apply to machiavellianism (mono-subject organization of personality).
