The article deals with the background and the main problems related to the crisis management of the international Olympic movement, analyzes the economic results of the organization of the Olympic Games, provides scenarios for structural changes in the world of sports management system. As a methodological tool used in this study TAIDA method proposed by Mats Lindgren and Hans Bandhold in their program work, "Scenario Planning - Revised and Updated: The link between future and strategy." The relevance of this study is confirmed by the growth of the scandalous news reports related to systemic problems in world sport.
