The 'Second Shift' Is Not Why Women Avoid News
Women are more likely than men to avoid political and economic news, but the reasons for this behaviour are linked less to structural inequality or family-related stress than to personal attitudes and the emotional perception of news content. This conclusion was reached by HSE researchers after analysing data from a large-scale survey of more than 10,000 residents across 61 regions of Russia. The study findings have been published in Woman in Russian Society.

Критика проектного подхода при определении городских агломераций

Вестник Пермского национального исследовательского политехнического университета. Прикладная экология. Урбанистика. 2017. № 1. С. 6–18.
Golovin A.

It is proposed to critically examine the agglomeration development proposals, which are being discussed nowadays in expert and managerial environment. The thing is all of the provisions suggested to be included into the agglomeration planning schemes are subject of the territorial planning system of the Russian Federation that coordinates all levels from the national to the municipal. Problems arising at the junction or overlapping of the planning objects of different subject belonging can be solved through joint planning both horizontally and vertically. The fact that the municipalities and regions have not learned to develop general layouts, land use planning schemes, land use and development regulations that have to be based on the vision and goals of socio-economic and cultural development does not justify the start of the development of agglomeration schemes, which are based on project approach.
