The article is devoted to the analysis of the main theoretical approaches
to the analysis of texts. The analysis provided a basis for the conclusion that it is
necessary to systematize and structure existing conflicting knowledge about the nature
and characteristics of the text. The idea is proposed to use a theoretical direction,
which can be indicated by the concept of «anthropology of the text.» According to
the author, an adequate understanding of the essence of the text involves the inclusion
of this category in the conceptual series, at the base of which is the concept of «life
world», that is, the environment in which the individual is located. The concept of
«life world» is actively explored by philosophers and psychologists.
The point is that a person who is embedded in a certain life world needs a medium
that will help him to know and understand: how this life world is structured
and where are the resources necessary for a person; helps to find and use effective
models and algorithms of activity that allow him to adapt to this life world or adapt it
to his needs; propose such norms of relations with other people, following which will
ensure the preservation and development of those human communities to which the
individual belongs or wants to belong; will help to find an excuse for life in general
and for specific actions and actions, in particular. It is concluded that it is the texts that
can provide the solution to these problems, that is, fulfill the role of such a medium.
