Глобальный контекст влияния ценностных ориентаций на электоральное поведение россиян

In this article the authors discuss various theoretical and empirical approaches to the definition of “values” and their connection with electoral behavior of voters. The authors consider both studies of classical authors, who addressed the problem of “values”, as well as more modern researchers who study connection between value orientations and electoral behavior. In addition to narrowly theoretical works, the authors consider empirical studies of “values” on the example of such large􏰀scale so􏰀 ciologicalorganizationsasthe“Eurobarometer”,theEuropeanValueStudy,theWorld Value Survey. Also, the work focuses on the problem of studying values and electoral behavior in Russia. Authors consider the researches of Russian scientists who studied the relationship of value orientations of Russian voters and their electoral prefe􏰀 rences, as well as researches of foreign studies dedicated to Russian electoral space. Within a broad global context the authors detect a few specific channels of values in􏰀 fluence on the electoral behavior and electoral preferences of the Russian electorate.
