The article deals with tolerance as a linguocultural phenomenon and social regulation. It establishes the manipulative nature of the category of tolerance as exemplified in the texts of federal and regional editions.
The manipulative nature of the social regulation is revealed through the linguistic analysis of the means and methods of the evaluative interpretation of paradoxical manifestations of tolerance by the authors of publications.
