История образования в период постревизионизма: проблемное поле и методологические основания исследований в Европе и США.
At present, the history of pedagogy in Russia lacks articles on theoretical and methodological issues explored in the English-language literature. The authors of the paper propose an overview of methodological foundations and discussions in education history in Europe and the USA, based on the analysis of research articles and books published after 1950, with the main focus on the last 20 years - the period of «postrevisionism». The article covers the main trends in methodology, the problem field of research, the current state and framework of this area of pedagogy. It presents the analysis the following leading journals: «Paedagogica Historica», «The History of Education Quarterly», «History of Education», «History of Education Review», «History of Education Researcher» and the works on the topic issued by the «Philosophy and history of the discipline of education: Evaluation and evolution of the criteria for educational research» and «The History of Education Society».
